Caution glass!
In the meantime, the glass work has started on our new company building. By now the modern and unusual glass facade is an “Eye-catcher” which allows being astonished everybody.

Top out ceremony of the HQ2
On Thursday, 27th of April, it was so far. We had the top out ceremony from our HQ2. The architect team thanked all partners, engineers and craftsmen who have helped us to date at our building project. Also they betrayed that at the turn of the year – in about 240 days – is to be expected with the handing over of the building.

The construction side of the BFFT HQ2 progresses with big steps. In the meantime half of the concrete work is already explained. In the first picture, the front of the construction project is to be recognized and the following both pictures shows the BFFT HQ2 from the air (made directly from the crane). At the inspection, the director of BFFT Georg Behr and also the representative of Staff and IT section could see the possible seat positions in their future office premises. Only the missing hardware gives the IT a big headache.

Good news in the New Year: We could resume the construction work of our business premises earlier than expected. At the beginning it was a matter of releasing the top floor from snow and ice. In spite of all, we must wait for the weather of the coming weeks. Only at rising temperatures all work can be continued, as planned.

Winter break
Recently the construction of our BFFT-Headquarter stands still. Because of the weather terms the work paused for prospective two months. The completion moves therefore to January, 2012.

Concrete and Steel
Up to the completion of the shell we will have put more than 525 tonnes of steel in 6100 m ³ concrete what corresponds to a weight of 15,250 tonnes.

Construction site still in time
The preparations for the ground floor concrete ceilings have been made. Casings were appropriated and steel lamination was laid for this . In the meantime, the appropriate scaffolding juts along the building facade.We're hoping for a mild winter that doesn't adversely affect our building project.

Building Layout Taking Shape
The office building construction in the Dr.-Ludwid-Kraus-Street is running on schedule. At this point the building shell is being built so that cement pillars and walls can be poured. In addition pre-fabricated cement parts are being delivered for installment daily. In order to begin on time with the interior of the building, the complete building shell should be finished by February of next year.

Ground-Breaking Ceremony– New Building BFFT GmbH Headquarters

On this day, June 25 the ground-breaking ceremony for the Head Office of BFFT GmbH took place in the Dr.-Ludwig-Kraus Street in Gaimersheim. The new building, which will be completed after a construction time of 17 months in October 2011, extends over an approximate length of 60 metres – a width of 34 metres – and offers around 8,500 square metres over five floors,
Office and operational space is being developed which will offer an excellent working environment for all employees as well as our first-class range of services. This large-scale project also sets up the necessary space uniting all departments under one roof which were previously housed in various building nearby
BFFT Directors as well as invited guests participated in the event.
